Over the summer break, the team popped over to Malvern College to speak to Keith Metcalfe about working with the Taskforce… Well we'll let you take a listen to what he said below! “they seem to hit that middle ground perfectly…they understood schools like us”

Frustrated that your buildings aren’t space-efficient enough when pupil numbers are growing, or you’re expanding enrolment? The Challenge: With changes forthcoming in their student intake, Client A transitioned to a co-educational offering, requiring them to adapt their boarding facilities to accommodate both male and female students in a day house setting. The Solution: We reimagined the use of communal spaces, adopting a unisex style and function, while ensuring the facilities were adapted to suit a specific age bracket. The Plan: The Taskforce and Client A transformed the current boarding house into a multifunctional study centre and boarding common room, aligning the school’s strategic growth with the physical environment while future-proofing the space. Does this sound familiar? Tap the link to see if a spatial assessment could help you >> https://ow.ly/n12750Ucy5V

It was a musical performance... Newland House School transformed its music block over the summer, introducing a state-of-the-art recital hall, peri rooms, and improved instrument storage. A big focus was placed on optimising acoustic attenuation to ensure all areas could be used simultaneously, alongside introducing new bleacher seating and a music storage wall. Take a peek at the spaces below, and stay tuned for the full case study coming soon.
