We’re thrilled to announce that we have signed an agreement for renewable electricity for our sucralose facility in McIntosh, Alabama, US. This agreement with Alabama Power Company means: - The carbon footprint of our sucralose ingredient will be reduced by more than 20%. - 100% of our facility’s purchased electricity will come from renewable sources. This is part of our broader sustainability programme which includes initiatives to reduce energy consumption, increase the use of renewable electricity and support sustainable agriculture. Our CEO Nick Hampton commented “Climate change is the biggest threat to the world’s long-term future and so it’s vital that companies accelerate the transition to renewable energy. Living our purpose: How our team helped cook and donate over 150 meals This week our team in São Paulo, Brazil, joined forces with GoodTruck Brasil to visit the Doroteia Community and prepare over 150 meals for those in need using donated ingredients that would have otherwise gone to waste.
