🚨 Important Consideration when selecting a Grant Funding Consultancy 🚨 With the increasing online discussions about grant funding consultants, it’s become clear that some may not always deliver as promised. Recent feedback suggests that certain consultants may use misleading claims or aggressive sales tactics, while offering limited support once payment is made. While many consultants offer genuine help, it's important to do your research before committing. For example, users of 'Company A' reported frustration when they realised they were expected to do much of the work themselves after paying significant fees, with concerns about clarity on deliverables and difficulty obtaining refunds. 🔎 Key Points to Keep in Mind: 🔹Clarify the level of support: Are you paying for comprehensive guidance or just access to an app or tool? 🔹Check the reviews: Ensure the company has a track record of successful outcomes and satisfied clients. 🔹AI-generated proposals may not be enough: Ensure there is human oversight for grant writing to improve chances of success. When selecting a grant funding consultant, it's crucial to recognise the value of a consultant-led approach over simply following a checklist or box-filling methodology. A skilled consultant ensures that each section of the application is not treated in isolation, but rather woven into a narrative that flows logically from one part to the next. This approach allows for a storyboard to be developed, where the answers build upon each other, creating a well-defined narrative that highlights the project's strengths and vision throughout the application. This approach ensures the application presents a compelling case aligned with the goals of the competition and funding bodies. 💡 Tip: Be clear on what services you're getting, ask questions upfront, and avoid any pressure to commit before fully understanding the offer.
