Just dropped: from Tech Nation here is the latest Future Fifty - the 50 most exciting tech businesses in the UK. But is this a list that reflects the reality? ⬆ Great to see our own Jacyn Heavens of Epos Now in Norwich, one of the original Future Fifty businesses and now in the Unicorn club telling his growth story. Amazing progress. ➡ Well done the 5/50 businesses in the regions outside the 'Golden Triangle' (Sheffield, Middlesborough, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Bristol) who made the cut. Feels like there should be so many more! ⬇ Is it just me, or is it a missed opportunity that 45/50 of the businesses listed are based in London, Cambridge or Oxford? I understand the criteria, but surely we have much more regional diversity to celebrate in the UK tech ecosystem? Which scaleup UK tech businesses are missing from this list? https://lnkd.in/e6zjPhht

Can anyone in the Tech East network help Josh Cobbold on his first step into his tech career?
My son, Josh Cobbold, has just finished his A-levels & achieved an A in Maths, B in Further Maths & B in Computer Science. I'm sure he'd be very grateful for any invites to 'link in' as he looks for his first role in the IT field. He has just achieved his AWS Cloud Practitioner accreditation & is interested in roles in that space or equally in software development / machine learning / data science whether they be apprentice, junior or trainee. Location-wise, A14 corridor so Stowmarket, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich or Cambridge via train or home-based. Thanks very much in advance for any advice, encouragement or support you have already or may be able to offer him.
