In this collaborative initiative, Technovative Solutions LTD (TVS) will contribute its expertise by handling the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) aspects of the project, while DigiProd Pass Ltd. will focus on the design, deployment, and management of the DPPs. DPPs are digital identity cards for products, capturing vital lifecycle data to enhance #transparency, #traceability, and #sustainability. With the EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (#ESPR) making DPPs mandatory for some industries by 2030, businesses must act now to align with these evolving standards. This pilot project, led by Technovative Solutions, will act as a blueprint for regulators, demonstrating how DPPs can be practically implemented and tailored to industry needs. On November 26th, the #JIDEP #Project participated in High Tech Summit in Stuttgart. Consortium members FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, Brunel University of London and Technovative Solutions LTD (TVS) collaboratively hosted two workshops titled 'Increasing Industrial #Sustainability and #Resilience through data sharing: Digital Product Passports and Life-Cycle #Analysis as a Service. During these workshops, #JIDEP conducted a hands-on user training session, showcasing the #JIDEP platform and it's tools, including the Digital Product Passports, Life-Cycle Analysis Tool, and #Collaborative Space. Additionally, a use case demonstration by using of #JIDEP artifacts, such as videos and roll-up banners were performed. These workshops engaged participants from industry, government, and related #projects, inviting them to address predefined questions: How can the #JIDEP platform shape and improve your decision making? How does it contribute to industrial #sustainability and #resilience? What specific benefits does it bring to your business? These discussions provided valuable insights into how the #JIDEP platform can drive #sustainable and #resilient industrial practices.
