  • 🎓 In observance of University Mental Health Day, we attended De Montfort University to support their event showcasing various support resources available to students. We had the opportunity to speak with several students about how Tellmi can support their mental wellbeing through our app and Tellmi Therapy services. We want to extend a huge thank you to the team at De Montfort University for having us! 📩 To find out more about Tellmi, and how we can support university students in your area, please contact info@tellmi.help #UniversityMentalHealthDay #UMHD2025

  • Yesterday, we had the opportunity to attend a Health Fair at Moat Community College, where we engaged with Year 9 students, sharing information about Tellmi and how we can support them and their peers at school. We also highlighted how Tellmi offers an anonymous, safe space for them to express whatever is on their minds, whether it’s related to school or home life. 📲 We want to extend a huge thank you to NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and the team at Moat Community College for having us. If you would like to know more about Tellmi and how we can be commissioned in your area, please contact info@tellmi.help 📧

  • Today is International Women’s Day! 👭 On this day, we celebrate the amazing achievements of women around the world - especially those who paved the way for others and continue to inspire change. Nine years ago Dr. Suzi Godson and Dr Kerstyn Comley founded what is now known to be Tellmi - a platform that empowers young people to take control of their mental health and wellbeing. 💡 Suzi is a polymath with a passion for creativity and science, holds an MA in Graphic Design from the Royal College of Art and Ph.D in Psychology from, Birkberk, University of London. She believes in the power of scientific research to equip young people with the tools to build resilience and give them more agency over their lives. 🔧 Kerstyn, with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and a Ph.D in Bioengineering from The University of Cambridge is a self-proclaimed product and data geek. She thrives on the challenge of leading an organisation and helping others - especially young people - achieve their mission of better mental health. #InternationalWomensDay2025 #Empowerment #MentalHealthMatters

  • Yesterday, Tellmi had the pleasure of visiting Kingston Carers' Network to deliver a Peer Support workshop. The session was filled with thoughtful discussions from active participation to sharing experiences of how peer support has previously benefited them with an open and enthusiastic environment. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with such a wonderful group. We would like to say a huge thank you to Kingston Young Carers’ Group for welcoming us.

  • 📖 Today is World Book Day. Dr Kerstyn Comley, co-founder of Tellmi, finds ‘Empire by Niall Ferguson’ an interesting read this month…. “Empire offers an overview of how the British Empire was formed, existed and eventually fell apart. It’s been really interesting to learn about the things that the empire did well as a frank assessment of behaviours and actions that should never be repeated.” Tellmi also has its own book! Perfect for school libraries, common and wellbeing rooms, we share anecdotes to expert overviews on teenage mental health help.  Check out our book on the Tellmi shop: https://lnkd.in/eweMpbe2 #WorldBookDay2025

  • A recent ITV News article reports that people on mental health waiting lists are eight times more likely to wait at least 18 months for treatment than those in line for physical health care. The analysis of recent NHS data by the charity Rethink Mental Illness reveals that those waiting for mental health care are experiencing even longer delays, with the average wait nearly two years (658 days), compared to 299 days for physical health treatment. This significant disparity highlights the urgent need for a shift in focus toward scalable solutions and 'waiting well' strategies in mental health care. By addressing these delays, we can improve access to treatment and ultimately enhance the quality of care for individuals struggling with mental health issues. • With the theme for ‘No More Week’ being ‘No More Silence’, here at Tellmi a commonly asked question is “How is Tellmi able to keep users anonymous?” Tellmi has extensive measures in place to ensure online safety and aligns with guidance from the Online Safety Act 2003:  - Users are not allowed to share personal information (e.g., names, addresses, schools, social media handles) that could lead to their identification outside of Tellmi or in the real world.  -We have trained, human moderators who review every post and reply made by users to make sure it’s appropriate before it is published on the app. - Usernames are a combination of three random words to ensure anonymity. - There are no private/ direct messages between users.  📨 For more information on how we can maintain a safe, digital space and explore commissioning opportunities in your area, please contact info@tellmi.help #NoMoreWeek2025 #NoMoreSilence
