When LinkedIn shared that MD Ian Oldrey was celebrating his 27th anniversary with Ten-25 (yikes!), we couldn't wait to hear his thoughts on his time here so far. Here’s what he had to say: “Over my 27 years, it has been exciting to see the business from all angles. I came on board initially to help with marketing, then ran the helpdesk, became a salesperson, assisted in designing software (though I never had the skills to develop it), and eventually took over as Managing Director nearly 10 years ago. A favourite memory was selling my first-ever system to Blenheim Palace Sawmills, which involved letting Bob, the Mill Manager, race my MG around the Palace grounds to clinch the deal - not something easily replicated over a Zoom call these days.  Yet even now, after 27 years, I am still learning new things every day - from the onward pace of changing technology to the evolving and varied ways our customers want to do business. I am pleased that in my current role, I get to work with our customers from their first introduction to the system to catching up after years of using our generations of software. While I reflect on my years with Ten-25, I would also like to highlight the many years of experience the rest of the team bring to what we do. Some have longer service records than me, and overall, our group of 15 totals nearly 200 years of experience with Ten-25 or working for merchants.  As we continue to grow and adapt together, I look forward to many more years of collaboration, innovation, and shared success.
