Nice transformation of a PROW pathway within Fox Hagg Nature Reserve for Sheffield City Council. KBI was appointed to remove a damaged section of pathway after the original surface dressing was washed out by Storm Babet last month. A competitors surfacing had originally been installed over an existing, non-porous, tarmac base, which delaminated and washed down onto a separate section of Flexipave surface that KBI installed earlier this year. The Flexipave section of the path remained fundamentally intact, with only minor damage caused by the old sub-base being washed away beneath it. KBI addressed all issues on site, installing a new substrate and drainage, as well as a brand new Flexipave surface all within 2 days. The pathway off Redmires road is now back open and safe to use.
