AWARDS 🏆 Yes we're at it again and absolutely thrilled to be adding to our trophy cabinet. 💐 North of England Wedding Awards WINNERS! Last night we were delighted to scoop the title of 'Town and City Venue - North East of England' for our fabulous offerings (we know we're biased but we're so lucky to have such a magical place where get to celebrate love). 🥾 North East Tourism Awards 2025 SHORTLISTED! We're over the moon to have also been shortlisted in not one, but two categories at the North East Tourism Awards for next year. We'll be hoping to retain our title in the 'Accessible and Inclusive Tourism' category as well as crown Lilidorei in the 'New Tourism Business' category. Wish us luck! 📷 Sean Elliott Photography Visit Northumberland LVEP (DMO) Destination North East England

We were delighted when the team at UNW invited our CEO Mark Brassell to talk all things Troll Snot, Magic Mushrooms and Elfwindrin at a very different 'in conversation with' event this morning. Well, we wouldn't be The Alnwick Garden and Lilidorei if we didn't have some crazy stories to tell.... Thanks for your ongoing support and RBC Brewin Dolphin's Jeffrey Ball couldn't have summed it up more perfectly! 🍄

It's all about the troll-snot. It's always fascinating to hear from Mark Brassell about the incredible journey The Alnwick Garden have been on to create Lillidorei, the world's biggest play structure. From financing, to governance and project management, it's one of the biggest achievements in the charity sector of recent years. Thank you to Anne Hallowell and her team for hosting so well despite the rain. It was good to chat to fellow Newcastle Rugby Foundation trustee Iain Ramage, and many leading charity figures in the form of Simon Dobson, David Stockton, Suzanne McKenna, Kate Bradley and Richard Turnbull. #charity #trusteetraining

TRIPLE GOLD! 💛 | Award winning Alnwick We're delighted to announce that The Alnwick Garden has won Gold in the Northumbria in Bloom awards in the Tourist and Visitor Attraction category.   In addition to this, our Roots and Shoots Garden also won Gold in the Allotments category. A great achievement for this special space where so much of our charitable community work happens.   As a cherry on top, Alnwick Town also won Gold in the Town category and now will go through to the National Finals. A triple Gold for wonderful Alnwick and good luck for the nationals!   Huge credit must go to our fantastic Head Gardener George and the Gardening team, as well as all the Gardening Volunteers. Thoughts at this time also go to our late colleague Frankie, who often worked in the car park area, keeping it neat and tidy for the judges.   We'd better spruce up the trophy cabinet with all this silverware! 🤩
