1 Year at Avetix – The biggest and best decision of my career! 🎉 Rewind to when I was making the decision—it definitely felt like a risk, but deep down, I always knew I was going to do something like this. Thomas Hall convinced me that he was the guy to do it with, and he was absolutely right! For context, we didn’t know each other before Avetix Group, but after six months of conversations, it became crystal clear: this was a journey worth taking, and Tom was the partner to take it with. I feel super privileged he felt the same way. We share the same mindset, and we both know the sky’s the limit in what we can achieve together (we’re already doing it! 🚀) Fast forward to today, and the past year has been nothing short of life-changing. I’ve done things I never thought possible, both in and out of work. (I’m doing an Ironman! 😅 🏃♂️🚴♂️🏊♂️) Professionally, we’ve been breaking barriers left and right. The biotech team—just 3 people—has achieved incredible results this quarter: 💥 £500k at 3rd, final, and placement 💥 £120k at 1st 💥 Plus an extra £500k at sourcing—all in exclusive and retained roles. What once felt like a risk is now a well-oiled machine with cash in the bank, record-breaking achievements, an amazing team 👏, and a vision for even more success ahead. I can’t imagine how much I’d regret it if I hadn’t taken the leap. It’s true what they say: 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 100% 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦. 🎯 Here’s to the future with this incredible team and to all the exciting challenges still ahead! 🚀 Here we are just a year apart 😀 PS: This is still the best time to get involved at Avetix. Opportunities are at their peak when we’re early, and you can grow your team with us. If you’re a top biller, imagine what you can build with our proposition!

✨ 29 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐬, 29 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 & 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐬! ✨ Hosting The BioHub Podcast has been an amazing journey. Not only have I learned so much, but some key themes keep emerging from my conversations with top biotech and pharma leaders. Here are the topics that come up time and time again: 🔍 𝐀𝐈: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲’𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 Yes, it’s that buzzword again—AI! Everyone’s talking about it, trying to understand it, and figuring out how to get ahead with it. From drug discovery to data management, AI is changing the game for biotech. Want a deep dive into AI? Check out Episode 16 with Angelo Stracquatanio III—we explore how AI is reshaping the industry. 👥 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 With layoffs, funding challenges, and more, it’s a tough time for many in biotech. But the message is clear: To keep your best people, you need to create a great environment where they can thrive. Culture is key—especially when things get tough. 💡 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 Find your passion, work for what you believe in, and if you’re not doing that, find a way to understand why your work matters. Meet your patients, connect with the impact—that’s what keeps the drive alive. 📊 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 In a time of tight financing, if you don’t have clinical data, you need rock-solid preclinical science and big names behind you. But let’s be honest—clinical data is still the trump card! Companies with exceptional data and proven results are the ones winning in this tough market. 💼 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐕𝐂𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞? Some VCs may have hit pause, but they’re starting to come back—and that’s a huge win for early-stage innovation. There’s still optimism out there, and we need that drive from startups to push boundaries and fuel progress. 🎢 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that biotech is a wild ride. Every exec I’ve spoken to has their own stories of challenges and wins. It’s part of what makes biotech so exciting—never a dull moment! What does everyone think? Have I missed some big ones? #BioTech #Pharma #AI #CultureMatters #ClinicalData #VC #BiotechInnovation #TheBioHub
