Happy December, and hello again to our old friend, the Hastings duck. Before any decorations had hit the shelves in even the most eager of shops, we were spending some time with the team at Hastings Hotels, Northern Ireland, thinking about their festive season. At The Collective, we’re a team of designers, story tellers and problem solvers. Together we worked to develop a concept, a script and storyboard that would evolve the Hastings Christmas brand story, and brought it to life with our in house videographer shooting live action Christmas back in September. Our long time friends and collaborators Streetmonkey, added their animation and VFX Christmas magic for the final edit. For some of us at The Collective, this has been a sequel, and we’ve been proudly pointing at cinema screens and TV’s since it was released a few weeks ago. Hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it. Merry Christmas. Quack!
