Here I am, attempting to covertly join the circus via the abstract Trojan ploy of posing as a marketing consultant. Turns out, marketing for modern circus performances is a little more sophisticated than somehow getting some posters on the inside of the glass door to a closed-down Carpetright. Air Dance Productions takes dance performance to a whole new dimension—literally. They not only: - Defy gravity with jaw-dropping aerial choreography. - Create immersive, unforgettable experiences for audiences. - Provide an end-to-end service from rigging to makeup. Amanda and her team also: - Nurture their own talent from beginner to pro. - Have built a fun, safe, and inclusive community around their facilities. - Inspire collaboration across the team. I think we could all learn a thing or two from that. We spent the day discussing B2B marketing tactics, from targeting corporate event planners to promoting to large-scale production teams on cruise ships. We also worked on refining their content strategy to showcase their unique performances across platforms. Now that's 'performance marketing'. And yes, there did come a time in the day when I had to say, “Can I ‘ave a go?
