Our final instalment of our Ultimate Student Outlook is all about the experiences incoming students expect to have while at uni, here's some of the key findings... 🍻 The student lifestyle appears to be more sensible and sober, with 7 in 10 rarely or never drinking alcohol, however, this is likely to change, with 55% foreseeing an increase in the amount they drink once at uni. 📚 Students expect to spend more money on study materials than they do on nightlife, another nod towards the importance of achieving academic success. 🧠 With academic pressure at the forefront, it’s not surprising that 58% of students say they’re concerned about their mental health while at university. 🏀 Rather than partying, college leavers plan to spend their free time at university participating in clubs and societies. These young people are often dubbed as generation sensible and while there may be some truth in that label, it definitely doesn’t make them generation boring. They’re just finding satisfaction and enjoyment in a different way to the generations before them. Fancy taking a look at the full report?
