The Data Company is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the insurance value chain to identify opportunities for improvement, analyse requirements, and develop solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and processes within the insurance industry.
Conduct business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and streamline operations.
Elicit, document, and analyse business requirements for new or existing systems and processes.
Develop and maintain clear and concise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Work with development and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements in the insurance sector.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a similar role.
Proven experience working in the insurance industry (highly preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with business analysis methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in data analysis (a plus).
