Climate is taking a back seat The mainstream agenda is focussed on other things so as a sustainability community, it's more important than ever to keep the conversation alive. Join our big climate bike ride, Ride the Change for Earth Day. It's a GREAT excuse to connect and talk to people about climate friendly behaviours, without being judgemental or preachy. You can be part of the conversation, the community, the thrill and the challenge of a big bike ride. Ride with us through Essex on 20th April. Ticket link in comments. Do you know someone who'd like to pedal with us? #rtc24 (Image credit: Ellie Mackay)

Yes - you read right: we're crowdfunding! We launched today and we’ve already passed 90% of our funding goal! 💥 After years of pioneering the field of climate action and engagement, working with incredible organisations from Innocent to Pukka, NHS to Scottish Parliament, we’re ready for the next phase. We’ve got some exciting plans to really step up our impact, reach, and revenue - turbocharging efforts to upskill the workforce on climate and nature. We don’t want too be about just personal action any more - we plan to take users from their first small steps and on towards greater innovation, advocacy, and ambassadorship. That’s where the real transformative change can be unlocked. Given that community is at the heart of everything we do - from our model of behaviour change to our marketing, and everything in between - it makes total sense to open up this funding round to you - our community. Please do come on board - you can support our journey and own some shares in Do Nation from as little as £10. 🤗 🔗 Link in comments. (Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high risk investment).

Who has been to to the Atomium in Brussels? It's an iconic, futuristic (and ever so slightly bonkers) building and the end point for Ride the Change this year. It's a brilliant place to gather and talk about the future of transport and the energy transition. So we're thrilled to bits that #RTC24 headline sponsor AECOM is hosting the end of ride event there on 23rd April, where we can reflect on the ups 🚵♂️, the downs, and the great conversations of Ride the Change. Get your ticket to join us for what will be an incredible experience! https://lnkd.in/eHUKwXEE James Banks Hermione Taylor Chris Cayley Tammie McAllister Cyan Partners Shawn Petersen Will Richardson (FIEMA) Jim LESCOP Ian Rogers Carolina Karlström Alex Fowler Jim Davis Lucy Carraz Uppington Helena Rivers Rocío Sorzano, ARB, CIOB Sophie Stanhope Jean Roi Alejandro Pina Botella Kirils Holstovs Alastair Waller BSc MSc DIC PMP FGS CGeol Glenn Hughes Bas Gunsing Sebastiaan Ahlers Coen Visser Olivier Sauer Miet Luyckx Bart Vis Susan Wilmink Duarte Catarino Adelin Oleș Ali Abdo Gordon B. There may have been romance in the air on Wednesday, but a few days before that, the love was all for nature and our home planet when Hermione Taylor spoke at the Sustainable Wedding Summit hosted by Michelle Miles 💚 In Hermione's session, 'Social Sustainability: Galvanise your Community to Take Action for Climate and Nature', Hermione talked of not just the immediate practical actions individuals and businesses can adopt to turbo-charge positive change but also spoke of the huge opportunities inherent in climate influence and re-skilling in the workplace. Every job is a climate job and a small but persistent suggestion can lead to innovation and systems change 💪 🌍 One attendee said the event provided, ‘actionable insights, expert speakers, and a supportive community.’ Thanks Michelle and the team at the Sustainable Wedding Alliance for inviting us to speak 🙏 We were in great company with Anselm Guise 🦙 Celia Gaze 🦙 Kate Atkinson Jen Gale Clare Clark (PIEMA MSc) Adam Bastock Lynsey Penny Andrew Griffiths Adam Oskwarek Pamela Rae-Welsh Stacey F. #speaker #climateaction #sustainablecareers P.S. You can be a part of our movement for change by supporting us in pre-registering for our crowdfunder. No commitment to invest, just register to support us https://lnkd.in/etiUSjN4

Fancy being part of our investor community? We’re currently taking pre-registrations for early access to our crowdfunding campaign before it goes public. This is not a commitment to invest, just having your name on the list really helps us with the CrowdCube platform. We’ve got some great plans and some even greater investors behind us already. By pre-registering you'll help us move us closer to our mission of driving transformative action for climate and nature 💚 Thank you 🙏 (link in comments)

10 years ago, when Hermione Taylor founded Do Nation, encouraging people to eat less meat or to cycle to work was a radical act. Thankfully, we've moved on since then and there's now loads more we can do to drive real change. Do Nation is preparing to move into an exciting new chapter, where we’ll be guiding people further along their climate and nature journey, from small personal actions towards truly transformational ones. We’re going to be launching a crowdfunding campaign soon to help make this happen, and we’d love your support. If you want to hear more about our plans and gain early access to the campaign when it launches - pre-register now - you only have till Tuesday. Link in comments. Please do click it. 😍 🙏
