Events Services

Committed to providing high profile speakers and entertainers for private and corporate events throughout the UK.

About us

Established in 2011, our aim is to become Wales’ premier events company and provider of guest speakers and sporting memorabilia. Our events are tailored to provide you with a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet your heroes up-close, across Wales and the West’s premier venues. We are also able to supply many of the leading sporting speakers and entertainers across the UK and abroad and have recently exclusively promoted tours with rugby legends Sir Colin Meads, Wayne Shelford and David Campese. Our other passion is fundraising and supporting local charities – giving something back is really important to us. We raise a lot of money for charities through auctions and raffles and by supplying memorabilia on a sale or return basis for charities to auction at their fundraising events. We have a huge range of authentic sporting memorabilia, including most recently, official WRU products. We look forward to you enjoying all that The Events Room has to offer.

What does it take to succeed at the highest level? For Alastair Cook, it’s talent, resilience, and relentless drive: “I just never stopped. I just kept on going,” he says. In this episode of A LOAD OF BS ON SPORT he, Daniel Ross and Dan Biggar unpack the mental battles of elite sport: staying focused in marathon innings, handling leadership pressures, and embracing the highs and lows of a long career. From his choirboy days to his record-breaking career, Cook reveals why professionalism isn’t about feeling good, but delivering when it matters. He breaks down batting collapses, the power of partnerships, and why “you can lose a game in an hour.” The boys dissect captaincy, managing big personalities, and the lessons only sport can teach. Leadership, he says, is about one thing: “winning.” But as he and the guys discuss, it’s also about bringing the best out of others - and enjoying the ride. We hope you enjoy this ride, link in comments 👇

Siya Kolisi is quite simply one of the most inspirational people I know. Few athletes inspire and lead like him. His journey from adversity to world champion is a masterclass in resilience, leadership, and purpose. We were lucky to have him on A LOAD OF BS ON SPORT this week - and trust me, this conversation is packed with insights. Here are just a few takeaways: 🟡 Resilience through adversity – how hunger, deprivation, and community shaped Siya’s creativity and mental toughness. 🟢 Leadership redefined – why serving others, staying true to your roots, and embracing vulnerability are at the core of great leadership. 🟡 Team over individual – the unique culture Rassie Erasmus built with the Springboks - valuing diversity, honesty, and a collective mission to win. 🟢 Life beyond rugby – the importance of preparing for life after the game, from building emotional connections to prioritising mental health and personal growth. 🟡 Legacy that lasts – how Siya uses his platform to uplift his community and leave a mark far beyond the pitch. This conversation is loaded with lessons on leadership, resilience, and teamwork - no matter your industry or profession. What resonates most with you about leadership or teamwork? Would love you to take a listen/watch wherever you enjoy your pods. 🎧 link below👇

Unashamedly requesting some kind charity donations 😊 https://lnkd.in/em-6yM4A Hywel Dda Charities https://lnkd.in/eEhNMdSB Marie Curie Cancer In 8 weeks time I'll be starting my charity walk to #EverestBaseCamp25 as part of The Events Room Ltd Team. Training has and is going well, so many beautiful walks we have here in Wales that I encourage you to take time to walk and take in the glorious scenery we have. I get asked by many "How high is Base Camp?", so I thought I'd list below for context: Pen-Y-Fan 886m or 2,907ft Snowdon 1085m or 3,560ft Everest Base Camp 5364m or 17,598ft Am I more fearful of the famously scary landing at Lukla Airport (please don't search on You Tube like I did!!) or whether I'll suffer at altitude as no matter how fit you are you don't find out how you'll suffer until you're at the altitude, all I know is that it will be a 'one off' experience with hopefully clear skies to allow me to witness in person the peak of Mount Everest and its surrounding beauty. The emotions (good and hopefully not too many bad) I'll go through over the 2 weeks are in an attempt to raise as much money as I can for Marie Curie UK (Llanelli office) and Hywel Dda University Health Board Diabetic Unit in Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen. As an individual if you can be kind enough to donate as little or AS MUCH as you can that would be brilliant. Any companies wishing to donate, please give AS MUCH as you can, 100% of your donation goes to great causes. Please click on the links above and donate, your support is greatly appreciated by me and the charities 😊 Felicitas Consultancy The Events Room Ltd #EverestBaseCamp #NoPainNoGain #ItsAboutTheHeightNotTheDistance
