One of the great joys of being a part of Sodexo, with its nearly 60-year heritage in food services, is that you frequently have the opportunity to enjoy some extraordinarily good meals and wonderful hospitality. Last night at The Wallace Collection, marking the 25th anniversary of The Good Eating Company, was one such occasion. The Good Eating Company is a brilliantly nimble and entrepreneurial business – qualities which lie at the heart of the brand’s strength and its ability to deliver exceptional workplace food experiences to its clients. I am proud of the work the brand has done, with Sodexo’s support, to grow sustainably. I’d like to congratulate John Harris, Carlos Mistry, Alexandra Kristall and their talented team on, not just the event we enjoyed last night, but on the realisation of their ambition to transform corporate catering with truly memorable, restaurant quality dining experiences. I had the chance to meet many members of that team last night and was especially delighted to spend some time talking to Hayley Murfin, Simon Davis and Raffaele Colturi, who between them have more than 60 years of service with The Good Eating Company under their belts. It was great to hear from them about their time with the company and how their roles have grown and changed over the years. At Sodexo, we know how food can elevate the workplace experience, which in turn can help attract and retain top talent. I am excited about our ambitious plans to take The Good Eating Company’s top class workplace dining experiences to even more clients across the country, and indeed the world.
