The podcast that asks, what is good technology? Is it even possible? And how can feminism help us get there?

About us

Hello! We're your co-hosts, Dr Eleanor Drage and Dr Kerry Mackereth, and we're both researchers in AI ethics, feminism and anti-racism at the University of Cambridge. Each week, we invite scholars, industry practitioners, activists, and more to provide their unique perspective on what feminism can bring to the tech industry and the way that we think about technology. We interview a wide range of guests from across the tech and AI industry - from philosophers like Rosi Braidotti, N. Katherine Hayles, Anne Cheng and Jack Halberstam to tech workers like ex-Google AI ethicist Meg Mitchell, the Buddhist head of an MIT tech lab The Venerable Tenzin Priyadarshi, and Google VP of machine vision Blaise Aguera y Arcas. We also talk to feminists across the world engaged in smaller AI projects, like Priya Goswami of Mumkin. We define feminism expansively, we are trans* inclusive, and show that many different kinds of feminisms exist globally.
