‘Kinetic is a registered charity, it’s wider aim being to reduce youth unemployment and steer young people from disadvantaged, inner-city backgrounds away from gangs and criminality…’ Harry Hudson: “78% of our young people are from single parent families and two-thirds are from the lowest socio-economic bracket of society, so they tend to have more risk factors attached to the circumstances around them and that makes them very vulnerable.” ‘Kinetic seek to reduce those risk factors not just through football but through education too…’ A feature article and video on the Kinetic Foundation from Sky on their website, app and Sky Sports News! 📝 - Nick Wright https://lnkd.in/eGudXt5G #KineticFoundation #KineticAcademy #FindYourFuture #Football #Academy #Charity #YouthDevelopment #London #SkySports #Sky #Education #Opportunities

With Black History Month coming to an end, it's been brilliant celebrating the remarkable contributions of black individuals who have shaped our history and continue to inspire future generations 🙌 At Kinetic, with 81% of students being from underrepresented backgrounds, we recognise the importance of fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where every voice is valued. We've taken this opportunity to learn, reflect, and support one another as we strive for equity and empowerment 🤝 There's been many events celebrating Black History Month across our partner Harris Federation academies in London that our young people have been involved in including a Year 12 vs. Year 13 match at Battersea raising money for charity at Harris Academy Battersea, the annual BHM concert at Crystal Palace and competitions at Invictus Croydon which included researching a black British figure whose story we might not know and submitting a poem on the theme 'Reclaiming Narritives'! 👏 #KineticFoundation #KineticAcademy #Charity #Education #Opportunities #Community #YouthDevelopment #CelebrateDiversity #InclusionMatters #BlackHistoryMonth

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of returning to University of Bath for the health department’s placement fair. It was great to return to the place I spent 3 great years, and meet students interested in a career in the sport sector and share experiences I had during my placement with Kinetic Foundation that has seen my career progress with them. Many thanks to University of Bath Placements and Careers Teams for organising and hope another cohort of Bath students get valuable experience on placement next year.

We've got some wholesome content to bring you this Wednesday morning! ❤️ 16 year old Kinetic graduate Latrell Lewis went and celebrated with his mum after scoring for Bolton Wanderers U19s. Latrell has been in great form this season, scoring 9 goals and adding 4 assists for Bolton Wanderers Football Club Academy teams (U17s, U18s and U19s) so far this season 🔥 The quick and powerful striker was very impressive for Kinetic Academy U16s in showcase games against Everton, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic, Derby County and Southampton. Latrell signed a scholarship with Bolton Wanderers in February this year after going on trial at the club off the back of a superb performance for Kinetic against Everton U16s, in which he scored two goals 👏 #KineticFoundation #KineticAcademy #Football #FootballAcademy #BWFC #YouthDevelopment

We love recognising and celebrating our young people's achievements on and off the pitch. Here's one from off the pitch this week... ⭐ Samuel has been awarded a badge on his lanyard at one of our partner Harris Federation Academies in South London. This badge represents his hard work, dedication and commitment during this term, especially around the library. Samuel was also recognised for helping a Year 7 student who didn’t want to return to class. The student ran into the library, and Samuel convinced him to go back to his lesson, showing great leadership. In addition to that, Samuel is one of the top students in his class across all subjects. He’s been doing really well and we’re all proud of him! CLAP IT 👏 #KineticFoundation #KineticAcademy #Charity #Education #Opportunities #Community #YouthDevelopment

We're delighted to announce that Kinetic Academy graduate Kwadwo Baah has signed a new 5 year contract at Watford Football Club ✍️ In the same week he was signing the extension, Kwadwo was speaking to our current young people at Harris Federation Professional Skills Sixth Form. Being a former student here, it was refreshing to hear his perspective on his school life and time at Kinetic and how it helped him to reach where he is today 🙌 The 21 year old scored 2 minutes into his Watford debut in a Carabao Cup tie back in August and scored his first goal in the EFL (English Football League) Championship 2 weeks ago which was a late winner for the club 👏 Kwadwo became our 39th signing to a professional club when he joined Rochdale Association Football Club in September 2019. He then signed for Watford from Rochdale in May 2021. The 2022/23 season saw Kwadwo out in Germany on loan at Bundesliga 2 side Fortuna Düsseldorf and last season on loan at League One side Burton Albion 📝 #KineticFoundation #KineticAcademy #Football #FootballAcademy #Opportunities #Watford #FootballLeague

Last week Year 12 played Year 13 in a football match match to celebrate Black History Month at our partner Harris Federation site Harris Academy Battersea, with players and supporters contributing money to take part/watch the game. The money raised is going to 3 different charities - Brixton Soup Kitchen, Sickle Cell Society and Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation 🙌 It was brilliant to see so many of our Kinetic Academy boys sign up for this great cause. Well done to our coach Ahmed Jama for his part in organising the match 👏 #KineticFoundation #KineticAcademy #Charity #Education #Opportunities #Community #YouthDevelopment #BHM2024

💼 Proud to step into my first lead facilitator role! 💼 As part of the Kinetic Foundation Mentoring Programme supported by Howden, I had the privilege of guiding Make Happy's workshops on the Business Model Canvas and financial literacy at several Harris Academies this week. The enthusiasm and engagement from the boys were incredible as they navigated the challenges of building their own business. This experience has sharpened my skills in public speaking and workshop facilitation—skills I’m excited to build on in future sessions. A huge thank you to Jocelyn Lui for her support during the sessions and for having to listen to me present the same workshops about fifty times over the past few weeks! With more workshops lined up, I’m eager to continue supporting these young entrepreneurs and help them develop their ideas into successful ventures. 🚀 I’m also grateful to a number of the Kinetic team and the amazing staff at the Harris Federation for their collaboration. Seeing the boys’ enthusiasm reminds me of the importance of equipping young people with creative outlooks. I’m hopeful that some of them will take their budding ventures further! #Entrepreneurship #YouthEmpowerment #BusinessModelCanvas #FinancialLiteracy #Facilitation #Education #GrowthMindset #SkillsDevelopment
