About us

We’re an animation studio run by animators. Which might sound obvious, but it’s actually pretty rare. It means our priority is always the quality of the work. No middle men. No meetings about meetings. Our studio’s in East London but our crew’s from all over: Norway (Hei). Japan (Kon'nichiwa). Even Sussex (um … Hi). Our obsession specialism is 2D animation, but we’re most hyped when we’re making stuff that we haven’t been asked to make, like games, series and interactive experiences. So far we’ve racked up a bajillion views, 7 Vimeo Staff Picks and a BAFTA...nomination *gunfingers*. It’s a decent start, but we’ll only be happy once we’ve broken the internet

  • We loved working on this intro sequence for Ubisoft's new game Bump - Superbrawl! This intro follows an unlikely trio of underdogs who share the same dream of becoming champions. One of the most exciting things about this project was that it marked the Art Directorial debut of our very own Eido Hayashi! We loved seeing her work elevate this film and bring the world to life.   • This is the first time we meet Jabari, unconscious, falling toward the ruins of a destroyed city. What happened here? What led to this moment? Is this the start of something or the end? Will he even survive? We wanted to kick off this trailer with questions, questions that Cory Kenshin and Monsters We Make will eventually answer. Dropping the audience into a mystery makes it feel like they’ve stumbled onto something mid-story. While we love big action set pieces, it was just as important to get those subtle details right, like the small flicker in Jabari’s eyes as he fights to stay conscious.   • We recently had the honor of collaborating with Discord on two special projects one for Lunar New Year and another featuring adorable chibi inspired icons! For Lunar New Year, we drew inspiration from traditional ink-on-paper techniques, bringing a handcrafted feel to life through frame-by-frame animation. And for the Anime set, we crafted the cutest bowl of ramen you’ve ever seen alongside other chibi-esque icons to add both boldness and charm to Discord user profiles.   • The mistrust between Eleanor and Lettie is unspoken yet loud, creating an unease just as they embark on a mission where trust could mean the difference between life and death. A subtle yet powerful foreshadowing of Eleanor’s eventual downfall to the infestation.
