This is a truly shocking statistic and we must do better. We must #ReachEveryChild who needs us and to help us do this we need sustainable funding from the Welsh Government (Llywodraeth). Last week saw the release of the third season of Bridgerton on Netflix which has been streamed 45 million times over the first weekend whilst Baby Reindeer has so far attracted 7.4 million views worldwide. ITVX announced last week that it continues to be the biggest commercial broadcaster in the UK reaching 21.3 million adults monthly, with entertainment & sport genres streaming hours growing by 13% & 82% respectively year on year. Streaming hours for men have increased by over 100 million! With Netflix’s advertising supported tier now having 40 monthly active unique users (worldwide) and ITVX strength as the number 1 BVOD platform, advertising on Video On Demand is an absolute must.
