Mark Williams: A Legacy That Lives On As we approach one year since the profound loss of our beloved CEO, Mark Williams, we reflect on the remarkable impact he had on our organisation and the countless lives he touched. Mark was more than just a leader; he was a devoted husband, father, brother, son, and uncle. His passion for people and business was instrumental in shaping the NWH Group into the industry leader it is today. Mark was known for his forward-thinking leadership and unwavering commitment to growth and sustainability. Under his guidance, NWH Group expanded significantly, doubling its business while embracing a vision for a greener, more sustainable future. He spearheaded numerous initiatives, including investments in cutting-edge recycling technologies and partnerships with prominent organizations, making strides towards reducing environmental impact. His work helped solidify NWH’s reputation as a leader in waste management across Scotland and northern England. Yet, his influence extended far beyond business. Mark’s life was defined by deep connections to family and community. His wife, Nicola, who stood by him through every challenge, gave birth to their son, baby Mark, in the months following his passing. This bittersweet moment marked a new chapter in the Williams family, as Nicola introduced their son to a world forever shaped by Mark’s legacy. Though his presence is deeply missed, Mark’s vision and spirit continue to inspire the entire NWH family. His influence on our culture and strategy will forever shape the path we walk as we aim higher and strive to achieve the goals he set forth for the future. We will never forget his warmth, leadership, and drive to make a lasting difference. #RememberingMark #LegacyOfLeadership #NWHFamily #Sustainability #InMemory #WasteManagement #Community
