Penguin Random House Canada Announces Launch of New Indigenous-Focused Children’s Imprint 📢 On 18 February, Penguin Random House Canada announced a new imprint would be coming to Tundra Book Group, Canada’s oldest English children’s book publisher and one of the leading children’s publishers in North America. Swift Water Books will officially act as the first Indigenous children’s imprint within a major Canadian publishing house, with its first titles set to release in spring 2026. Swift Water Books’ mission is to publish literature that “educates, entertains, has a long-term vision of social change and finds a balance between complex histories and the beauty of Indigenous cultures across Turtle Island,” where the imprint’s books will be sold and distributed.
