We've been lucky enough to host the NSPCC at Superstore and Garden Centre by Homebase launches, meaning we've had loads of opportunities to fundraise so far this year alone. This is important to us not only because we can support a cause close to our hearts, but also because we can see the direct impact of these fundraising efforts on the local community surrounding each store. For us, opening a new Range Superstore is about celebrating the local community. In our new Bodmin, High Wycombe and Selby stores as well as every Superstore we've opened in 2025, we've worked closely with local business to create bespoke theatre for each location such as balloon arches, ensuring that we're supporting local economies from the get go. Plus, we invite local mayors and dignitaries to officially open the store, to ensure we can learn from their knowledge of the area and create the best shopping experience for our customers. CDS is continuing to grow since our acquisition of the Homebase and wilko IP with an additional 30 new The Range Superstores planned to open this year alone, so we’re looking for opportunities to purchase stock. If you’re a supplier who has cancelled stock in your warehouse, at the docks or on the water, we’re looking to open conversations regarding its purchase. We’re highly experienced in handling containers and can take stock in various stages of shipment. Please note the product will need to meet UK standards. It's the big two one for us today, as we open our 21st Superstores of the year 😱 At 9am, customers queued to get into our newest locations: Admiral Park, Morecambe and Oxford. The first lucky customers were treated to goody bags filled to the brim with the best of The Range, wilko and Homebase alongside exclusive first day opportunities to meet suppliers from the UK's most trusted household brands. The Superstores showcase the best of CDS, including a range of wilko's own brand goods and a Garden Centre by Homebase providing both indoor and outdoor plants. It takes a whole team to open a new The Range Superstore, from property who start the process to the instore team working on prepping for the big day. As we open Huntingdon, Reigate and Bicester, CDS' Head of Property, Antony Darbyshire shares "it's a testament to the passionate teams across the entire country that we're able to not only open new stores, but we've been able to open a huge 18 this year alone. This morning we opened our fifteenth Superstore this year 🤯 With doors opening at 9am, Staines, Ashbourne and East Dereham became the newest The Range Superstores to open, providing jobs to the local community and ensuring customers are able to access the home products we're famous for. This also means we've been able to open 15 Garden Centre by Homebase stores, ensuring the heritage garden brand thrives into 2025 and beyond, supported by CDS' operational and digital expertise. We've kicked off February with the launch of our new Superstores in Penge, Woking and Leighton Buzzard! Featuring Garden Centre by Homebase, these new sites will be the go-to destinations for local customers looking to make home and garden improvements. Customers queued round the block to be first to see the new stores, with the first 50 nabbing goody bags and the first customers getting to take home a huge prize. To round up a very exciting January, we’re welcoming Stroud, Putney Road Leicester and Blandford Forum to The Range Superstores family! This morning, we cut the ribbon on THREE new stores, which will include Garden Centre by Homebase.
