🌿 Why I Started The Secret Garden Glamping 🌿 It all began during the first lockdown of 2020. With the world at a standstill and my two young children, Sophia and Noah, at home, I had to get creative to keep them entertained. One night, we decided to camp in the garden. The kids loved it, but waking up on wet grass wasn't ideal. That sparked an idea—I built a deck for camping the next evening. What started as a small project turned into a daily activity. As days turned into weeks and months, I kept building, and by the end of the lockdown, I had unknowingly created what would become our first glamping pod, complete with an outdoor area to relax and unwind. I shared my journey on social media, and soon, an organization reached out for a story on "what a dad built in lockdown for his kids." When it was published, the response was overwhelming. People started asking if they could book the unit for holidays. At first, it seemed unreal, but I listed it online—and within three days, it was fully booked for two years in advance. That’s when I realised there was a real demand for unique, luxurious holiday experiences. In 2021, I secured planning permission to transform a 4-acre piece of woodland into what is now The Secret Garden Glamping. It has been an incredible journey, and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come. The Secret Garden Glamping is now a multi-award-winning, five-star luxury glamping site, and our goal is simple: to create amazing units and unrivaled outdoor spaces where people can relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature. My home for the next 2 days what a stunning location!! Was very kindly invited to the dragons den retreat by Sara Davies and what a phenomenal morning so far!!

So had a big push this week getting the new swimming 🏊♂️ pool finished at La Mancha Hall it’s really coming together can’t wait to go for a swim this week!!! This is just the start of bringing this amazing property back to life and look forward to be able to share more of this with you soon

What a night!!! The culmination of everything was being able to represent Lancashire at the Visit England awards. There was three of us there with amazing businesses last night representing Lancashire we were there for camping Glamping and holiday Park of the year but also the others were there for taste England award and business venue of the year award. WE ONLY WENT AND WON 🏆 🏆🏆🏆🏆 Thank you to the amazing guys at Marketing Lancashire what an unbelievable experience never in 1 million years did I think this would ever happen.

So before the pictures go live across our social media platforms tonight I thought I would share the details of the brand-new unit. We created down here at The Secret Garden Glamping. This brand-new unit called The Luxe can sleep up to 6 people and includes some amazing outdoor features such as 4K cinema, outdoor heated shower, cold plunge pool, outdoor pool table, outdoor seating areas, bar area and unbelievable six person woodburning hot tub. This unit will set the new standard within Glamping and is arrival in the industry. I hope you all like it and can’t wait to be able to share this with our audience tonight.

One of the questions I get asked a lot is “what is your favourite unit” and honestly it’s like picking my favourite child lol 😂. One thing I will say is The Wilderness Spa has to be up there on the list! Can’t beat waking up on a Sunday morning in here!!
