I'm awful at photography and always forget to take pictures, but here’s a snapshot from last week’s presentation (thanks 🔥Khalil El-Amin for the pics)! I had the honor of sharing the stage with Frank Gregory, where we dove into how Nestlé and Nichefire are exploring product opportunities in the food and beverage sector related to the emerging GLP-1 weight loss trend. #ObserveSummit was a truly inspiring gathering of brilliant minds and innovative ideas—a celebration of the #SocialIntelligence community at its best. Huge thanks to Dr Jillian Ney and The Social Intelligence Lab team for putting together another fantastic event! So many great presentations and panels as well - special shout-out to Angela Palladino Paige Walker Rob Key Justin Schoen Noel Christopher Mary Beth Levin Larry McGrath Ellen Tseng Amanda Jeppson and so many others for blowing my mind with amazing talks! #OS24

  • We’ve meet the judges but the question on everyone’s lips is “what makes a good nomination?”.   We got a few of the judges talking and managed to sneak a few tips out of them for you 🤫   “Highlight the journey — where you've been and where you're going. Highlight the impact — short-term wins, long-term gains. Highlight experimentation — what you've tried, why you tried it, who you tried it with. Highlight advocacy — how are you encouraging or educating your peers about social intelligence.” – Melissa M.   “From my POV, while nominating for Social Intelligence Top 50, focus on showcasing specific examples of tangible impact with metrics. Highlight creative approaches, problems solved, ability to inspire and influence others through effective leadership. Emphasize collaborative efforts with teams and partners, and commitment to ethical practices in the work. Include testimonials from colleagues and industry peers, highlight recognitions, awards, accolades, credentials on this arena. Let's celebrate leaders who are making a real difference and driving positive change in the world.” - Sathyaraj Asaithambi   “Be thorough, be bold and make yourself shine!” – Stephanie Z.   “Be sure your nomination tells the story of what you’ve done plus the impact of your work or actions taken based on your findings. Don’t be shy about hyping your work – there is an entire social intelligence community who can relate to your challenges and who are cheering you on to success!” - Melissa Davies "Don’t be shy! Be loud and proud — show us what you accomplished and what makes your work exemplary. Include results and proof points!" - Wendy Scherer   Now you know what the judges want to see, get your nominations in 👉 https://lnkd.in/eS4zZKcQ   #SIInsider50 #SocialListening #SocialData #Insights

  • WOW!!! 🤩   We had the BEST day at Observe Summit last week! We loved being in Chicago. We loved the amazing and insightful sessions delivered by our awesome speakers. But the thing we loved the most was bringing the community together and being in a room full of social listeners. Where else can you go down a rabbit hole of internet and social data without everyone’s eyes glazing over? It was the perfect opportunity to geek out with people who actually “get” social listening. 🙌   It was also the first time we have live-streamed the event and seeing so many of you beaming in from around the world was truly 🤯 in the best possible way.   Okay, we will calm ourselves enough to say a huge thank you to our awesome sponsors ViralMoment, SAMY Alliance, Nichefire, Converseon, Loxias AI, YouScan Social Listening ✨, Pulsar, Edelman, Brandwatch, HaiX AI and Pendulum.   Thank you to all of the insightful and inspiring speakers who took time out of their busy work lives to share their social listening secrets with us.   And lastly, thanks to you lovely lot. Whether we finally got to meet you face to face or you tuned in virtually, the awesome vibes of the social listening community are all down to you. 😍   We can’t wait until next year 😉   #ObserveSummit #OS24 #DeepSocialListening #SocialListening #SocialIntelligence #Insight #Data

  • With great power comes great responsibility. So we knew we had to choose wisely when selecting the judges for the SI Insider 50 2025.
