  • So many dreams have been shut down because of malnutrition. In Malawi, countless children have been held back from reaching their full potential due to a lack of proper nutrition. The impact goes beyond just their physical health, it robs them of the energy and focus needed to learn and dream big. For many, this means falling behind in school, and ultimately, missing out on opportunities to break free from the cycle of poverty. To this day, the challenge of malnutrition continues to persist, limiting the futures of an entire generation. By giving children the nutrition and support they need to succeed, we make sure no child’s potential is ever wasted. https://lnkd.in/ePqHGEaY #endmalnutrition #investineducation #educationforchildren #brightfuture

  • What started as just a dream is now a reality. This maize harvest is a huge milestone for The Sparkle Foundation and a true testament to the power of perseverance, teamwork, and vision. For our CEO & Founder, Sarah E Brook , this moment represents just how far we’ve come in our mission to create a sustainable future for the children and communities we serve. But this harvest is about more than just maize, it’s about hope. It means we are one step closer to our goal of providing food security for children and families, especially at a time when Malawi faces rising food insecurity. With the Government of Malawi recently banning the sale of fresh maize due to these challenges, the need for sustainable food solutions has never been greater. It is also the first of many steps towards a future where Sparkle’s nutrition program can provide for all our children across all sites without relying heavily on donations. A future where sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. A huge thank you to our partners, supporters, the Sparkle team, and our Agriculture Coordinator Victor Simkonda whose hard work and dedication made this possible. Together, we are building a brighter, self-sustaining future, one harvest at a time. #Nutrion #Sustainability #FoodSecurity #Teamwork #Collaboration #Impact

    Real Estate | Real Impact

After 18 years racing along my own corporate hamster wheel, my husband Kevin Atterbury and I finally looked at each other and asked, 'Is this really all there is?' We were both chasing success but missing purpose in those fleeting moments between deadlines and alarm clocks. We decided it was time for a bold change. Following a few months to breathe, reflect, and reimagine our future, I'm incredibly proud to announce our new venture: Thirty Three Real Estate. At Thirty Three Real Estate, real estate doesn’t just change hands, it changes lives. From day one, we are allocating 33% of all our brokerage fees to support charitable causes across the UAE.  Each home we help match to its new owners creates meaningful impact for communities in need. We are thrilled to introduce our first charity partnerships with The Sparkle Foundation and Thrift for Good. Special thanks to the visionary leaders Sarah E Brook, Tasneem Kara, Jennifer Sault, Jade Povey and Ma Aina Colline Medina and their teams who believed in what we're building.  Now for my humble request: Dubai runs on real estate conversations—they happen at school drop-offs, dinner parties, gym sessions, everywhere! When you hear someone mention buying or selling, I'd be deeply grateful if you'd point them our way. Since we're skipping the usual flashy industry marketing tactics, personal recommendations from wonderful people like you will be our lifeline. We're fully RERA licensed (41976) and ready to make property dreams happen while making a real difference. Our website is now live, and I'm just a message away if you'd like to learn more about how we can help. Thank you for being part of this exciting new chapter! www.thirtythreeme.com

Everyone wants to make a difference - they just don’t know how. Well, here’s the thing: I’m no longer afraid to ask. Not for myself, but for the thousands of children whose futures depend on it The Sparkle Foundation. So next time you say, “I’d love to help but I don’t know how” - be ready for an answer. Because rumour has it, I’m one of the most persuasive and persistent people in town. If you’re serious about change, say YES. We’ll take care of the rest. And for the CEOs who care - writing a cheque is the easiest thing you can do. But true impact? That’s when you step up, make it personal and get your whole company involved. Are you in and ready to join one of the fastest growing changemaker movements in the world? • If you could see the moment your donation turns into a warm meal for a child, would you give? If you could stand in a classroom where children finally have books, desks, and the chance to learn, would you hesitate? If you could witness the relief in a mother’s eyes as she holds life-saving medicine for her child, would you wait? You may not be there in person, but through #RamadanForACause, your generosity reaches where you cannot. 💛 Your donation doesn’t stop at a number—it feeds, educates, and heals. 💚 It travels from your hands to theirs, turning scarcity into sustenance, fear into relief, uncertainty into opportunity. 💙 It is the reason a child in Malawi smiles today. For them, you are the miracle they have been praying for. ✨ AED 50 = A month’s worth of meals for a child. ✨ AED 100 = Education support that keeps students in school. ✨ AED 150 = Food, school supplies, and medical care. You hold the power to change lives. So, if you could make that change today, why wouldn’t you? Be the reason someone thrives. • Hunger isn’t just an empty stomach. It’s exhaustion. It’s a child too weak to play. It’s a mother choosing which child gets to eat tonight. Hunger isn’t just skipping a meal. It’s breaking fast with nothing but water. It’s a Suhoor that never comes. It’s knowing that tomorrow might be the same. Hunger isn’t just a problem. It’s a cycle—one that doesn’t end unless someone steps in to break it. This Ramadan, you can be that change. 🌙 Your Sadaqah can turn an empty plate into a full meal. 🌙 Your Zakat can help a child focus on school instead of survival. 🌙 Your generosity can bring relief to families who have waited too long. The Sparkle Foundation is not just feeding families—we are providing nutrition, healthcare, and education to 20,000 children, ensuring they have a chance at a better future. We fast to remember what it means to be without. Now let’s give to those who have no choice. Be the reason a family eats tonight. Student at Brighton College Dubai

🌟 Support The Sparkle Foundation & Help Change Lives! 🌟 From the moment I discovered The Sparkle Foundation, I knew I wanted to help. Their work in Health, Education, Nutrition, and Community is truly life-changing, and I was determined to bring that mission to Brighton College Dubai. I gathered a team of Sixth Form students, and together we spent months planning, coordinating, and overcoming challenges to launch our fundraising efforts. After securing approval, I had the privilege of sharing our vision in assembly, using handprints and heartfelt messages from Malawian children to connect with our school community. Our first fundraising event—a Bake Sale & Non-Uniform Day—was a massive success! Over 300 baked goods sold out in just 20 minutes, and together, we raised an incredible 3 MILLION Malawian Kwachas for Sparkle! But there’s still so much more we can do. Every donation makes a difference—providing children in Malawi with essential resources for a brighter future. Join me in making an impact! Global Education Impact Lead at Cognita Schools

Privileged to share a remarkable milestone in our partnership with The Sparkle Foundation in Malawi through Cognita's commitment to global education impact. 🌟 Recently, I had the honour of delivering Level 1 Safeguarding Training to the team, with support from the wonderful Kirsty Clark. The power of recognition and positive reinforcement in professional development was evident as The Sparkle team embraced and implemented new safeguarding practices with remarkable speed and dedication. Working alongside The Sparkle Foundation team has highlighted the value of cross-organisational collaboration in education. Their drive to enhance safeguarding standards demonstrates the importance of this work in action. Seeing organisations come together to strengthen child safety practices creates meaningful impact. Looking forward to seeing how these new practices develop. #GlobalEducation #Safeguarding #Malawi #TheSparkleFoundation #EducationPartnership Cognita Schools The Sparkle Foundation
