About us
The Water Management Society (WMSoc) is a not-for-profit membership organisation who have been providing practical and technical training to individuals and companies within the water management industry for nearly 50 years. Being at the forefront of Legionella Control and Water Hygiene, and having close links with the BSI, HSE and other regulatory bodies, enables WMSoc to provide the most up-to-date advice, guidance and training on how to prevent Legionnaires’ and other waterborne diseases within various water systems. WMSoc’s comprehensive programme of training is delivered at their purpose-built Practical Training Centre in Tamworth, or alternatively, WMSoc are able to accommodate training at employer sites. Courses include, Legionella Control and Management for Duty Holders & Responsible Persons, Hot & Cold Water Systems, Evaporative Cooling Systems, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Risk Assessment in Healthcare Environments, temperature monitoring, sampling and inspection, maintenance of TMVs and Legionella Risk Assessment training. All WMSoc training courses are unbiased with no allegiances towards other regulatory bodies or commercial companies. All their courses carry the City & Guilds accreditation Our expertise in Legionella awareness, Legionella and Water Hygiene training enables us to give the most up-to-date instruction on how to prevent Legionnaires’ and other waterborne diseases within various water systems, including cooling towers.
