About us

The Young Entertainers Academy Awards (YEAAUK) aims to not only highlight the achievements and hard work of young people in community performing arts, also those who work with them. To support, encourage and inspire more young people to get involved in performing arts, and to enable young people to learn about the opportunities available to them. We have joined forces with reputable performing art establishments and individuals in the industry, to bring the first award ceremony to recognise, celebrate and acknowledge young performing arts students in the community, and those who work with them. Celebrating the diverse talents of young people aged 8-24 who regularly entertain the community. The Young Entertainers Academy Awards VISION is to enable young performers in the community from all walks of life to be self-sufficient in the area of performing arts. We believe that opportunities should be given equally to truly increase the visibility of all people, irrespective of racial backgrounds. This however still requires work for disadvantaged young people that needs to be driven from within the community, and for this group to feel in control of their own opportunities and their own successes, tell their own stories.
