Another great Southern Glaucoma and Corneal Network Meeting held in the beautiful barn at Norton Park, full of insight ful talks and valuable discussions. We were able to entice Associate Professor Shamira Perera from the renowned Singapore National Eye Centre back to where he was a registrar to give captivating talks on Glaucoma Surgery Complications and Wobbly Lenses. Andrew Tatham delivered on the perils of Overdiagnosis and Under diagnosis in Glaucoma. Our own Anastasios Sepetis presented on deprevation status and Glaucoma. Hasan Naveed gave a fantastic presentation on Corneal emergencies stressing the importance of the adenexa and Parwez Hossain taught us on enhancing the ocular surface in his own inimitable style The growth of the Southern Glaucoma and Corneal Network Meeting is truly impressive, attracting its largest audience yet. It’s fantastic to see such strong collaboration between specialties. Thank you to Ray Tam Paul Shackleford and Théa Pharma UK for their unwavering support . Another successful Paediatric Ophthalmology Study Day! 💡 This wonderful event took place in our very own hospital and brings paediatric ophthalmologists from the region together to share their expert knowledge. 👁 It was a great opportunity for consultants, trainees, optometrists, allied health professionals and other colleagues who work within the paediatric ophthalmology space to convene and exchange ideas. ❤️ We hope it was also a chance for junior colleagues to see how rewarding and exciting a career in paediatric ophthalmology can be. Thank you to all who attended and we hope you enjoyed it. 📖 A particular highlight for me was listening to Mr.Arvind Chandna's story about how he got into Cerebral Visual Impairment research. Lots of top work being produced by his team at the moment. And watch this space: He is setting up something very exciting (research-related) in our department! The Moorfields International Refractive Symposium 2025 is led by the Moorfields Corneo-Refractive Department including Professor Bruce Allan, Mr Vincenzo Maurino, Mr Daniel Gore and colleagues. The symposium aims to cover the different approaches to patients’ management of refractive errors detailing the different laser modalities as well as refractive lens exchange with discussion of the most advanced IOL implants, including presbyopic correction. ✨ The CPD season has officially begun at OCL Vision! ✨   We held our first session at our Kensington clinic last night, welcoming both familiar faces and plenty of new ones. It was an incredible evening filled with learning, collaboration, and exciting introductions!   👁️ Our attendees dived into four engaging peer review cases covering corneal, retina, glaucoma, and oculoplastics, led by our expert consultants. Plus, we were thrilled to introduce our newest consultants, Mr Mohammad Dehabadi and Mr Emil Kurniawan, who joined us for an exclusive and interactive session with our optometrist community. Throughout the evening, participants also had the chance to engage with Ms Laura de Benito Llopis, Ms Sally Ameen, and Mr S.
