About us

Based in New York City, THE CHARLES was founded by Aaron Edwards and Samantha Edwards in 2011. Driven by their respective passion for culture, creativity, business strategy, finance and technology, they sought to create a digital-first agency that would do things differently. Born and raised in St. Kitts, Charles Alfred Sealay was Samantha and Aaron’s great- grandfather. He was a popular man who transcended the boundaries of race and class inequality to make a success for himself and his family. Naming the agency after him, the siblings hope to leave a legacy behind for years to come.
