GC colleagues recently took to the streets of Manchester to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK). Led by colleague Bob Dackiw, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, the Stronger Together team took part in the annual Cancer Research UK Shine Night Walk, raising more than £2800! Speaking on the support he’s had from colleagues and the wider company, Bob said: “I can’t emphasis enough, the importance of employers supporting their workforce through life-changing experiences and I’m proud to work for a company that embraces this ethos.” Read more about Bob’s story: https://lnkd.in/ezFKSzA7

For the past few years at GC, we’ve encouraged our colleagues to take part in @BreastCancerNow's #WearItPink Day. 🩷 This year, colleague Frank Kinrade, who's a Local Representative for Breast Cancer Now, hosted an information session to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer. We were joined by Anne-Marie Taylor from Breast Cancer Now's public health team, and inspirational colleague Rosie Wright who kindly shared her breast cancer story with colleagues. Frank also launched the annual fundraising raffle, which raised £576 last year!
