Halo successfully helped Intercom launch their inaugural AI tech event, Pioneer 2024, in October. In collaboration with their in-house team, we designed and built a tiered seating mezzanine within the tight confines of Shoreditch Electric to maximise the number of seated attendees at the influential tech conference. Our scope included a covered shelter for the outside break area, the 20m mezzanine and innovator pods for the one-day event. The whole event was a resounding success and we look forward to working with Intercom again in the future. As Christmas slowly approaches, the Halo team are still missing the summer! However, it gives us the opportunity to reflect on the incredible projects we have worked on across past six months. It's safe to say the Fan Zone at Southampton Football Club is a huge hit with the fans. The fan experience is becoming more and more crucial in all aspects of sporting events, from entertainment to facilities and everything in between. We designed and built a 36m x 15m 700 capacity structure housing bars, seating, live screens, a staging platform for pre- and post- match entertainment. When it comes to sports, especially football here in the UK, the matchday experience is crucial. With fans travelling to matches from near and far, it's important they are in a relaxing environment that allows them to fully immerse themselves in the game. The Halo team are proud to have built Southampton Football Club a brand-new fan zone opposite their North Stand, allowing fans to get together and enjoy a drink or two before and after each game. Our fan zone has already been a big hit with Saints supporters, with plenty of fans posting about it!
