#GlobalYouthAmbassador Recho Karleen knows first-hand the barriers children with disabilities face when trying to learn. That's why she's dedicated her work to helping the 240 million children with disabilities around the world receive a quality education. At university, Racheal campaigned for special education needs teachers and sign language interpreters in classrooms. She's also led community sessions on inclusive education and personally mentored other young people with disabilities to help them enrol in school. Now, as a Global Youth Ambassador, Racheal is supporting the #ActForEarlyYears campaign and advocating for quality early years care for children with disabilities. We're so proud of her work 💪 and we're with her, every step of the way.

900 people have added their names in support of making schools a safer place for LGBTQ+ children. Will you help us hit 1,000? 👇 1 in 4 LGBTQ+ pupils in the UK say they felt or currently feel unsafe in school. Our survey has revealed the shocking extent of bullying and discrimination that young LGBTQ+ people face at school, with respondents speaking about being locked in toilets, punched, kicked, verbally abused and worse. We need your help to put an end to this 💔 Please add your name now: https://ow.ly/XIiR50SF2Rh

Young people have the power and potential to change the world 🌎 Don’t believe us? Just take a look at #GlobalYouthAmbassador Oluwaseun Ikusika who flew in and out of Cyprus - 24 hours before her graduation! - just so she could attend the UNECE ESD 2024 Forum 🤩 Why? She wanted to take her advocacy to the global stage and meet other youth leaders driving positive change and working to end the global #education crisis. We think it’s safe to say that the future is in good hands 🙌

Educating girls is not up for debate. It's 2024 and we're still seeing millions of girls being denied an education. Denied hope for a better life. Denied a future. All girls deserve to learn. Drop a ❤️ below if you agree. With thanks to: Stella Babatope, MLS(ASCPi)CM, HCPC, MLSCN, MRSB

Does donating just £10 really make a difference? YES! This year we've received over 526 donations for Theirworld, #YourWalk 2024 - ranging from £2 to £2000. Together, you've raised a whopping £24,602! 🎉 This could provide over 100 laptops to the most vulnerable Ukraine children living on the frontlines of war. And there's still more time! Help us reach our £30,000 target and help more children: https://ow.ly/OBco50Svl1N

In 2024, more than 80 countries – half the world’s population – have elections taking place, offering an unprecedented chance to change the world. Today it’s the UK's turn. Why are elections such a great opportunity to make an impact? 👇 1. Voter numbers have declined globally since the 1960s, with many people not even registered to participate in their elections. 🗳️ International evidence suggests that when disillusionment happens, votes can swing towards populist parties. Don’t let complacency win! 2. Voting nationally can have an international impact 🌎 Your elected officials will also meet political leaders from other countries to discuss and hopefully work together on critical global issues you care about 3. Elections are a great time to mobilise your community to contact your candidates and tell them what you expect 📣 Set up a petition or a letter-writing campaign that could be shared as an email template or in WhatsApp groups Send this to someone who needs to see this 👀
