#GlobalYouthAmbassador Recho Karleen knows first-hand the barriers children with disabilities face when trying to learn. That's why she's dedicated her work to helping the 240 million children with disabilities around the world receive a quality education. At university, Racheal campaigned for special education needs teachers and sign language interpreters in classrooms. She's also led community sessions on inclusive education and personally mentored other young people with disabilities to help them enrol in school. Now, as a Global Youth Ambassador, Racheal is supporting the #ActForEarlyYears campaign and advocating for quality early years care for children with disabilities. We're so proud of her work 💪 and we're with her, every step of the way.

Why are elections such a great opportunity to make an impact? 👇 1. Voter numbers have declined globally since the 1960s, with many people not even registered to participate in their elections. 🗳️ International evidence suggests that when disillusionment happens, votes can swing towards populist parties. Don’t let complacency win! 2. Voting nationally can have an international impact 🌎 Your elected officials will also meet political leaders from other countries to discuss and hopefully work together on critical global issues you care about 3. What's more, almost 2 in 5 LGBTQ+ youth said they don’t think schools in America are safe environments for LGBTQ+ students. Our latest data has uncovered alarming rates of unreported bullying of LGBTQ+ students in US schools, with many not feeling safe or accepted by teachers.
