Last week was all about Pop royalty here at The O2 👑 Gracie Abrams brought her powerhouse vocals to the stage on Thursday 6th March for her sold-out show as part of ‘The Secret Of Us’ Tour, followed by recent BRIT-Award winner Sabrina Carpenter headlining two sold-out shows on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th March for her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ Tour. Up at The O2 has announced its latest egg-citing activity headed to the roof this Easter, with the launch of cupcake decorating climbs. The ultimate family fun activity, climbers will get to enjoy extended time on the roof and have the chance to decorate and eat delicious cupcakes against the backdrop of the London skyline. Oh what a night 🏆 We were honoured to host The BRIT Awards (or should we say The BRAT Awards...💚 ) for its 14th year at The O2 on Saturday night. Once again we were reminded of the sheer talent and excellence that we have in the music scene at the moment - from Charli XCX taking home an impressive five awards including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, to JADE winning the award for Pop Act. With plenty of showstopping performances and incredible sets, we're so proud to have a world-class production team here at The O2 who are always raising the bar to bring these mammoth productions to life. We're reflecting on what was a bumper February at The O2, with everything from pop and rock, to comedy and dancing, and even a world first event with F1 75 Live. We even welcomed a few performers to our world-famous arena for the very first time, with Bullet For My Valentine & Trivium bringing The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour to The O2 on Saturday 1 February. Pitbull also graced the stage at The O2 with a sold out show last Friday, and two further shows announced on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 June for the return of Mr Worldwide to the venue. This week has seen the return of the 37th edition of International Live Music Conference (ILMC), and we’re proud to have some of our talented team representing The O2 and sharing their expertise at events across the week. 👉 Robbie Balfour chaired the ‘Marketing: Navigating Channels’ panel event yesterday, where the panellists discussed how to best utilise the various channels available to promoters, venues, and ticketers to maximise ticket sales 👉 Megan Fletcher will be joining the ‘Venue Evolution’ panel at ILMC Futures Forum tomorrow, taking a deep dive into how the venue experience might evolve over the coming years 👉 Sam Oldham will be participating in the Mentor Sessions at Futures Forum, providing mentees with advice and tips from her illustrious career in the live industry What’s more, we’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for ‘The Venue Award’ at The Arthur Awards 2025 – best of luck to all the nominees at tonight's awards 🏆 #ILMC37 #LiveEntertainment #ArthurAwards25 IQ Magazine
