🚀 Reflecting on a recent insightful experience with Thinks Insight & Strategy and the NHS England 🚀 I had the opportunity to attend a 3-day workshop focused on a major healthcare transformation—the implementation of single-file patient records. This initiative is set to streamline patient information management, yet it naturally raises important questions regarding privacy and data usage. The sessions explored key public concerns, including: - How and when patient data will be accessed. - Who will have permission to view or use these records. - The impact on future research and data-driven healthcare improvements. A particular highlight was a conversation with Vin Diwakar, Medical Director for Transformation and Secondary Care at NHS England. Hearing his perspective on the transformation of patient care was inspiring, as he shared his vision for a future where healthcare is more connected, data-driven, and patient-centric. These discussions underscored the importance of transparency and trust as we work toward a more integrated healthcare system. Exciting times ahead for patient care innovation!

Following a deep dive into the sector, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has issued an interim report outlining concerns regarding the infant formula market. Thinks Insight & Strategy were commissioned to conduct consumer research on experiences using infant formula and follow-on formula, with the evidence contributing to provisional conclusions outlined in the report below. The report also outlines several potential options for addressing these issues, such as providing parents with clear and impartial information and clarifying and strengthening regulations.
