Yesterday we had the pleasure of connecting The Academy of Hope with the MuleSoft Business Services Team for a VTO workshop. The Academy of Hope is charity that supports a group of children in rural India with schooling, housing, food and other basic essentials. The aim of this workshop was to help Caleb and Kylie grow their fundraising efforts by connecting them with corporate sponsors and providing them with a strategy and actions to create a robust fundraising stream. The team workshopped a ‘North Star’ plan where we established a pitch to directly resonate with corporate sponsors.  We also worked on a content, website and sponsorship strategy where they can begin to drive activations that will convert into donations that will support the education, shelter, food and security of the children. ❗ This is where we need your help! ❗ One of the most urgent challenges facing The Academy Of Hope is that they are unable to transfer funds from a UK Charity Bank Account to their guardians in India due to sanctions set by the Indian government.  If you or anyone in your network has any experience in setting up charity finances within India please get in touch and lets see how we can solve this problem together.
