Roof Replacement Complete for Bradgate Education Partnership ✅   YMD Boon successfully secured #CIF funding to undertake a full roof replacement at Cobden Primary School, a Victorian-style building with dual-pitched slate roofs. The original slate coverings were in poor condition, with slumped insulation in the roof voids contributing to significant heat loss. Signs of water ingress across multiple areas confirmed the roof had reached the end of its serviceable life.   We provided multidisciplinary services throughout the project, with THOMAS CASSIE & SONS (LEICESTER) LTD appointed to carry out the works. The existing slates were removed down to the rafters and a new roofing system was installed with reconstituted slates and upgraded fiberglass insulation.   A great outcome for preserving the building and improving energy efficiency! #roofreplacement #reroofing #loughborough #leicestershire #primaryschool #education #cif #funding
