Brilliant to be back in #Cornwall over the weekend at United Downs, the UK’s first #geothermal power plant. Thank you to Geothermal Engineering Ltd for hosting an open day on site, providing an opportunity for the local community to see the project and learn more about #geothermal technology. It was also great to hear local MP Perran Moon share his perspective on the economic opportunities that #netzero can bring to #Cornwall 🌊 Having invested in the project early on, it’s exciting to see it just a few steps away from generating the UK’s first #geothermal electricity ⚡ #renewables #netzero #geothermalenergy
