Our Small works Team have been very busy in recent weeks securing multiple projects including a Fast-Charging EV Station in Houghton-le-Spring, Myton School in Warwick, Baskerville School in Birmingham and the Freckleton Industrial Estate Project in Blackburn. These projects are connected at LV to 11kV to their incumbent local DNO area networks. TMS Grid are working in conjunction with IDNOs on each project to ensure fast and efficient approval and adoptions. Special thanks to Neil Richardson for all his expert management of the schemes.

TMS Grid are proud to announce that we have been awarded the Electrical and Mechanical Construction Works Contact for a 400kV Substation which is facilitating the import and export of power for a 300MW/600MWh Transmission connected Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) scheme in Lanarkshire. This project will also see TMS Grid undertake all the 33kV cable terminations, LV, DC and fibre Optic Comms cable supply, installation and testing for the BESS equipment. TMS Grid deliver HV Substation and Groundworks Maintenance for Nissan TMS Grid have been busy delivering the HV Maintenance, Groundwork services and cable fault repair solutions at the Nissan Car Manufacturing plant in Washington, Tyne and Wear. These works have called heavily on TMS Grid’s ability to develop and deploy strategic subcontractors in the effective delivery of the work scope. Working in conjunction with Encome Energy Performance UK Limited, TMS Grid have ensured the operational performance of the onsite 20MW Solar PV installation can realise its full potential. TMS Grid have formed a strategic delivery partnership with IHL Group also based in Washington. IHL have over 35 years experience in large scale ground works and maintenance services which makes them the obvious choice for the safe and effective of these works.
