👋 Say hello to the newest member of our core software team, John Ferguson! Hailing from Scotland, John moved to study Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London. His love for tackling complex problems led him to pursue a PhD in computational physics, where he dived deep into polygonal and polyhedral methods for the Neutron Transport Equation ⚛️ After wrapping up his PhD, John joined Siemens Digital Industries Software, working on Parasolid - the CAD geometry kernel behind countless design tools 🚀 When he's not building high-performance software solutions, you’ll catch him crushing #F45 workouts, perfecting his tennis serve, or cooking up something tasty in the kitchen 🎾 🧑🍳 Welcome aboard John! 👉 We're still growing! I'll be representing ToffeeX, where we develop and commercialize physics-driven generative design software for thermo fluids applications. We had the privilege of presenting at two key events in the USA 🇺🇸 🌍 NYC Climate Week alongside Imperial Enterprise Lab and four other innovative climate tech companies: Notpla, Multus, Team Repair, and Cyanoskin. It was great to see everyone highlighting how we're driving meaningful climate solutions through cutting-edge innovation. 🖥️ CDFAM - Computational Design Symposium, where we showcased the latest advancements in our physics-driven #generativedesign software. Our focus? Advanced multi-physics modeling for net-zero applications, including carbon capture, along with design tools that eliminate the 'black-box' feeling engineers often encounter with computational design tools.
