Today we celebrate our social prescribing team and all the organisations and partnerships we have in Brighton and Hove which allow us to reach so many people. Our amazing link workers do a lot of community outreach, speaking to people about the help we can give them, connecting them with other people and places which will improve their wellbeing and social health. Organisations we support include The Villas Foodbank, an Emmanuel Church supported initiative partnering with The Trussell Trust Food Bank and Brighton & Hove Food Partnership BrightStore in Whitehawk to offer social prescribing support in the community and the Community Pantry at Hollingdean Foodbank. We also work in partnership with our SP Plus partners The Trust For Developing Communities, Sussex Interpreting Services, Friends, Families and Travellers and Brighton and Hove LGBT Switchboard. It was great to meet the faces behind the funding when visitors from the Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust came to see what we do. The trust has donated almost £40,000 to our core costs for many years and it was lovely to show them the impact their funding makes to Together Co's vital work. The Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust make a difference to people in need in Sussex and their representatives visited one of our monthly socials where the people we support get together for tea and chat, and to enjoy different activities. #Funding #ErnestKleinwort

What better way to ‘Accelerate Action’ than by hearing about how to become a leader from the women who’ve already made it into the chief executive role? The closing tradition on our podcast, Leading Lights, where we interview female CEOs of the UK’s leading charities, is to ask which one piece of advice they’d like to give other women on the path to leadership. Today, to help accelerate action, and celebrate our incredible guests, we’re sharing from the treasure trove of advice they’ve given us. With huge thanks to: ⭐April Baker, Chief Executive of Together Co ⭐Rachel Clift, Chief Executive of Ben Automotive Industry Charity ⭐Dr Sarah Hughes, Chief Executive of Mind ⭐Jayne Taylor, Chief Executive of The Elephant Group ⭐Michelle Thew, Chief Executive of Cruelty Free International ⭐Angela McConville, Chief Executive of the NCT Charity We don’t know who needs to hear this advice, but we hope these words of wisdom accelerate the path to leadership. Happy International Women’s Day from the whole team at MOREVER! p.s. To listen to the podcast, search ‘Leading Lights MOREVER’ wherever you listen to podcasts or visit our website. #iwd2025 #InternationalWomensDay

We are excited to share our ambassador Kasley Killam's Ted Talk which is now available to watch. Kasley is a social scientist who has been living and breathing the art of connection for many years. In her talk, she discusses why social health is as important as physical and mental health, and how we can all strengthen our relationships. https://lnkd.in/esSNYK9v #CharityAmbassador #SocialHealth #Connection

What a day for a run along the seafront! It was the perfect weather for Brighton Half Marathon and the atmosphere was electric. Thousands of people raising money for so many amazing causes. We have to say a HUGE thank you to our 10 runners - Lauren, Hayley, Ellen, David, Jack, Mark, Sammy, Dylan, Emma, and Liam, who between them raised a whopping £4,151 for Together Co. Your fundraising will help us to support hundreds of people in Brighton and Hove who are lonely and isolated. We also had two incredible volunteers - Pam and Silvana - who gave their time to help out at the event. Races like this would not happen without the hundreds of people who are willing to help, so thank you for volunteering on our behalf. Who’s up for it next year? Give us a 🙌 in the comments. #BrightonHalfMarathon #Befriending #SocialHealth #Connection #Community #Running #Fundraising #Volunteering April Baker Erin Rice Ruth Lumley Emily Daniel Anne Amner Natalie Orringe Pam Gordon QFP Alex Tindal

Yesterday we visited The Grand Brighton to say a huge thank you to the team for raising £18,625 for us over the past few years. They provided the venue for our Spring Tea and Winter Warmer, bringing hundreds of people together for afternoons of friendship and connection. It's been lovely to run events alongside everybody at The Grand who work so hard to help. The amount you have raised is making a huge difference to the people we support in Brighton and Hove. #Fundraising #CorporateGiving #SocialHealth
