The heat was on, but it stayed in the kitchen! 🍳👨🍳 Earlier this week, our Property D&F team swapped their spreadsheets for sweet treats as they volunteered at Cook for Good, an enterprise tackling food insecurity, social isolation and barriers to work on a social housing estate in Kings Cross. The team cooked up around 100 meals to share with local residents and outreach organisations. Our team ran alongside 5,600 other runners on the spectacular course that takes in some of the capital's most famous landmarks. Insurance is an industry like no other, that offers huge opportunities to ambitious people. That is why we are always happy to showcase the fascinating world of insurance to the younger generation. Recently, we were delighted to welcome work experience students from local schools. The students spent their time in various departments, including Enterprise Change, IT, Actuarial, Underwriting and Finance, learning how TMHCC operates. They also visited Lloyds of London to discover how the insurance industry was formed and how it operates today. Melanie Duke, Head of Enterprise Change, presented the students with a certificate of recognition.
