One last repair job we have got to carry out this year…2024 - almost completed it! This has been a year of improvement and growth for Topside. We have partnered up with some exciting new clients over the year as well as continuing our long standing relations with repeat clients that have supported us for decades. A big thank you to everyone that worked and and continues to work with us. Special thanks to all the staff that have worked so hard over the last 12 months. We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year - may 2025 be a prosperous year for all involved with Topside.

Here at Topside we don’t only offer high quality windows, doors and curtain wall products. We can also offer bespoke products that have been made to your unique requirements. Below are some recently machined products that have been produced from solid aluminium extrusion from Aalco Metals Ltd using our elumatec UK SBZ140 4-axis CNC machine. Our large production facility allows us to produce items similar to the below on a large scale whilst simultaneously running large curtain wall screens, windows and doors from multiple system suppliers. Other recent images below show some impressive curtain wall mullion preps along with an unusual rectangular hole straight through a fully reinforced Schüco UK Limited mullion with spigots and aluminium plates also machined.

Another busy week here at Topside as we continue to push forward with some exciting contracts for our valued clients. With premises combining 2500 square foot of office space and 25,000 square foot production facility, we are the go to fabrication company for any project no matter how large or complex. The production setup consists of two elumatec UK CNC machine centres capable of machining the largest profiles, a cross-cut saw, two Emmegi double head saws, a Schüco UK Limited isolat5 rolling machine, 3T overhead crane, 5T combi FLT amongst various bracket punch tools etc. Our production facility has over twenty skilled fabricators operating the latest window manufacturing technology and software from our fabrication partners: TECHNAL UK Kawneer UK Reynaers Aluminium UK Schüco UK Limited Jack Aluminium Systems Ltd ALUTECH COMMERCIAL UK …plus many more All this combined with a management team that boasts over 100 year’s experience and overseeing an operation compliant with ISO9001, you can be sure your contract is in safe hands.

Little update from the team Topside Facade Engineering. Attached photos show the most recent delivery of windows and curtain wall profiles just prior to setting off for site. The specific project utilizes both open-in and open-out ALUTECH COMMERCIAL UK W72 thermally broken windows along with the 50mm Alutech curtain wall screens which span multiple floors. All items ran through through production and have been QC checked and packed in line with our ISO procedures. …It’s been a while since we posted anything so a long overdue update. It has been an extremely busy period for us the last twelve months as we continue to develop as a company. We have completed and have ongoing a variety of projects that use many of the different facade systems which we can offer. The future looks even more exciting as we have some great projects lined up. One of the current projects we have ongoing incorporates a bespoke reinforced feature fin that is fixed to Schüco International KG AWS 70hi window system. These tilt&turn windows look awesome with the anthracite powder coating in a Matt finish. See the below image which shows a batch of the recently machined feature fins that have been drilled and tapped in our elumatec UK SBZ140 and SBZ131 CNC machines. Prior to cutting and machining, the 6m profiles were ran through our Schuco Isomat5 which was set up to apply low-tack protective tape to to the visible areas. These are ready to have the solid aluminium reinforcement profiles inserted and mechanically fixed prior to installation. Just one of the countless products and systems that we can offer in this ever changing industry.
