Total Pool has 30 years of experience in the UK Pool Industry. We have supplied a large number of products and services to many commercial leisure facilities in the United Kingdom. The team comprises a broad range of experience from swimming pool management to the chemical industry. It was this experience which lead to the development of the patented Poolcure system which was developed to eliminate the issue of combined chlorines. The company has four distinct elements. A few weeks ago, I posted a story about a client that showed their concerns about changing their failing and costly sand filters because of the limited access to the plant room. 🤔 Thanks to GRC FILTRATION LIMITED for removing and disposing the old and worn-out sand filtration units. 💪 Because of the unique construction of the #Ceramiflo Micro filtration units, it was brought through a standard plant room door, and in this instance, it was installed and working within 5 days with very little disruption to the leisure centres pool and staff. As you can also see, there is more space gained in the plant room and health and safety has been dramatically been improved. The #Ceramiflo system now provides automatic back washes and chemical cleaning. The #Ceramiflo system is remotely monitored, with very little need for human intervention. 💻 This #microfiltration upgrade will give extensive financial savings on energy, water, and chemical usage. 💰 A very well done to the Total Pool Ltd team of engineers for their first-class work on another #Ceramiflo project 🥇 Interested? get in touch for a chat to discuss other services we can offer or a plant room survey, happy to help any time. I had a visit with a potential customer yesterday, and boy was he surprised and relieved by the outcome. He has had 4 surveys on his plant room from different contractors and I was the fifth. He began and said, “The issue I have is access into the plant room, there is only one way in, and it has a steep narrow stairway.” “OK”, I replied, to see the frown on his face of unsurety. We entered the plant room, and I was met with 3 large rusty steel sand filters that have seen better days. “I have had prices to remove and replace these filters but its astronomical because of the access and I was told that the leisure centre will need to be closed for up to 4 weeks to carry out the work and I can’t close for that long under any circumstances”. I carried out my survey and approached him with my proposal. Option one The ceramiflo unit will dismantle and we can easily bring it down the limited stairway into the plant room and reassemble in situ. Cut up and remove one of the sand filters and place the Ceramiflo unit in its place, whilst the pool runs on the other 2. Install the Unit and when ready, pipe it into the pool, commission and the Ceramiflo will take over the running of the pool. The other 2 sand filters can now be removed at the customers convenience. Option two Because there is enough room in the Plant room, I can install the Ceramiflo as mentioned, but we don’t remove the sand filters and the unit will sit quite comfortably next to them because of its small footprint. This will save you money and time in taking them out. In both options I can carry these jobs out with no disruption to your operation, and the pool only needs to be closed for approximately 4 hours, which can be done in an evening or a weekend at your convenience. I have had a call this morning and he announced he would like to go with option 2 and the official order will be with me on the 1st of February. If you have the same issues and need to update your filtration unit with Ceramiflo, then get in touch, it might be easier and cheaper than you think.
