✨ Last winter, some of our team had the incredible opportunity to go on a 5-day Fam trip in magnificent Tromsø, Norway. The adventure was packed with unforgettable experiences such as spending half a day with Tromso Arctic Reindeer to learn about their history & culture, before taking part in reindeer sledding and feeding. The team ended their first day with a ride on Fjellheisen cable car. While the falling snow somewhat obscured the view, the delicious dinner and snowy surroundings more than made up for it. During their stay they got to experience Tromsø’s cultural offering with fascinating guided tours of the The Arctic University Museum Of Norway, Polar Museum, Troll Museum Tromsø & beautiful Arctic Cathedral. A highlight was the Aurora Dinner on board the Brim Explorer, where the lights of the city & Aurora Borealis lit up the night sky. The team ventured out of Tromsø for a one-night stay at the breathtaking Hamn in Senja. Surrounded by mountains, greeted with warm hospitality & getting to warm up in a hot tub as the Northern Lights made an appearance meant the getaway was nothing short of magical. On the way back to Tromsø, the team couldn’t resist stopping at the stunning Bergsbotn and Tungeneset viewpoints. Hotel inspections were also on the agenda, and the team were shown round the Thon Hotels Tromsø, Radisson Blu Hotel Tromso (where they enjoyed some excellent pizza), and Clarion Hotel® The Edge. Their overnight stay at the Moxy Hotels in Tromsø provided a stylish and comfortable base for their adventures. The team also had the pleasure of meeting with fantastic suppliers, including Best Arctic , NorthernShots Tours AS, Wandering Owl, and Visit Tromsø-Region, who added immense value to the trip, giving our team more ideas for their itineraries and renewed enthusiasm to show off the city and its surroundings.
