🎄 Engineering meets holiday magic! 🎄 As structural engineers, we don’t often get asked to assist with decorations—but this time, we got to join in the festive fun! We worked with the wonderful Twilight Trees, a bespoke installations company based in Winchester, to help create the structural support for a 5-meter-diameter Christmas wreath to adorn the front of Boodles on New Bond Street. Our role? To design the fixings and justify the brackets needed to safely secure this stunning installation. The work happened overnight, ensuring everything was ready to bring Christmas cheer to shoppers by morning. While the wreath's beauty is entirely thanks to the talented team at Twilight Trees, we’re proud of the hidden engineering behind it. It’s a reminder that even in the most creative projects, good engineering plays a vital role.
