Spending much of the week in Paris, meeting clients and colleagues. Fascinating to take the temperature of the city and markets with a new Government in place. Amongst all the political turbulence, France and Paris have made important capital market reforms over recent years, boosting the city’s attractiveness to international firms. Michel Barnier’s government has a real opportunity to build on this, prioritising greater flexibility for our sector to attract international talent to Paris.
