We are super excited to share our latest title sequence work for new CBeebies series "Dodge's Pup School". The show features a colourful cast of puppet dogs having adventures at their new school. We wanted to echo the hand crafted nature of the show in the titles, paying close attention to lighting, all the tactile materials and extra little details. Produced by the fantastic Brilliant Trees Media Ltd team and based on an original idea by Dodge himself Warrick Brownlow-Pike, you can catch the entire series every week day this week or on iPlayer now! We love working with Monkey Kingdom as they often have really unusual projects for us! Earlier this week we shared the animation for the work we did on Stand Up To Cancer's comedy roast of Davina McCall. This was a fun brief that called for a "newspaper cutting" style with plenty of texture, layers, and bold colours from SU2C's palette. The turnaround time was very tight, so it also helped having talented freelancer Nat on board, who did some fantastic work on this project. As part of Stand Up To Cancer's charity event last November, we got to work with Andy over at Monkey Kingdom on these fun graphics for Davina McCall's comedy roast section. This project had a really tight turnaround, and we were lucky to have Nat Wood on board to help us with this eclectic graphic style. We love how this animation turned out, and we've got some stills to share with you later this week. It was exciting to be part of this entertaining (if challenging!) project, especially for a good cause like Stand Up To Cancer. We can't wait to see what they come up with this year! Throwing it back to a project we completed a couple of years ago today. We had the pleasure of creating an explainer infomercial for Royal Canin's Hematuria Detection by Blucare. The biggest challenge on this project was creating the animated cat. Using Duik in After Effects, we built a custom quadruped rig to animate the cat with lifelike precision. We’re excited to have collaborated with our friends at Sticks & Glass to create an on-brand animated explainer for Neverwaste the world’s first high-performance panel board made entirely from waste. Using a clean, monochromatic yellow and black palette, we focused on smooth, seamless transitions that echo the sustainable, cyclical nature of the product. Earlier this year we were approached by our neighbours and good friends, Submarine Films, to create a short animation for a film they were producing for Wild in Art, an organisation that creates spectacular and meaningful public art trails around the world, partnering with destinations, charities, and businesses to make a difference. The animation we created takes the viewer on a tour of the globe, stopping off at all the locations where Wild In Art has made an impact since its inception. "Shetland: Scotland's Wondrous Isles" aired on Channel 5 this spring, and we got to put our map-making skills to work on this lovely representation of the islands. Building the map layer by layer helped us to add stylised depth to the isles & sea, as well as all the fun details that highlight the areas of interest. Channel 5's "Shetland: Scotland's Wondrous Isles" is all about celebrating the nature and heritage of these lovely islands, and we tried to capture this in our design process.
