Its not to late to sign up to our ITWG joint working group Topic- The Digital Railway & the Future of Ticketing - tomorrow afternoon being hosted by Birmingham University, as part of Birmingham Tech Week. Guests will get to hear from top academics from University of Birmingham about the world-class research, education, and innovation they provide to the global rail industry. This will include learning about open innovation ecosystems where companies and individuals can test and develop technical solutions in a live rail environment. Innovations in smart technology and rail ticketing will also be discussed, as well as the work that the Virtual Innovation Team are doing, and the future opportunities for supporting businesses. The event will conclude with a lab tour of Birmingham Centre for Railway Research & Education – including the driver cab and Bravo– Timetabling Lab.
